Hi everyone! Welcome to The Cosmic Road.
I am very excited to officially launch this blog. My name is Alana and I’m a 23-year-old university student from Australia. I am currently in my final year of an astrophysics/languages double degree. I have a passion for beautiful study notes, planning and organisation. I hope that with The Cosmic Road I can help students to make the most of their time at university, by balancing a fulfilling life with academic success.
In the years I’ve spent studying at university, I have come across so many different types of students and so many people with different stories. Recently however, I have heard an alarming number of stories of students struggling to cope with the pressures of studying after high school. Whether it is university, college, TAFE or some other kind of study, everything comes with its own workload, stress and difficulties, and everybody handles these differently.
The idea behind The Cosmic Road is to provide a blog for students where they can find advice, tips and resources that help them to succeed in their studies and obtain that work/life balance. Of course, many posts will be based on university experiences but the information from them can be utilised by students attending college, TAFE, studying online or even late high school students. If you’re an overachiever, a struggling student or somewhere in between, you will be able to find helpful posts on The Cosmic Road to assist, motivate and encourage you in your studies.
I will be posting articles and resources on a regular basis, so why not sign up and get notified when there is a new post? You can subscribe to my email newsletter to get updates delivered straight to your inbox.
I hope you enjoy the site!
